Warm greetings and heartfelt wishes to you as we reflect on the joyous season of Christmas. We hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. Your generosity and support have made a significant impact on the lives of many children in need, and we are delighted to share with you the heartwarming moments from the Christmas celebrations.

The Christmas festivities unfolded with immense joy and gratitude among the children in Edgel Mission. Thanks to your compassionate contribution, we were able to organize a memorable event filled with laughter, love, and the true spirit of Christmas.

In keeping with our cherished tradition, our festivities commenced a day ahead. The children displayed excitement as they actively participated in the preparations for the grand day. The girls eagerly assisted the cooks, contributing to the creation of mandazis and chapatis. Concurrently, the young men took on the responsibility of sheep slaughtering, a pivotal element in our Christmas feast. A few others dedicated their efforts to adorning the sanctuary with festive decorations.

The Christmas Day celebrations commenced with a brief yet heartwarming Christmas service. We joined together in songs, filling the air with the melody of festive tunes. Following this joyful interlude, we were treated to a concise yet meaningful devotional that centered around the essence and purpose of Christmas.

This session was immediately followed by the festive meal that brought smiles to the faces of each child. The aroma of traditional African dishes filled the air, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Following the delicious meal, the children engaged in various activities and games, fostering a sense of friendship and shared joy.

One of the highlights of the day was the distribution of gifts. Your thoughtfully provided gifts brought sheer delight to the children, who eagerly unwrapped them. The joy and gratitude expressed by the children were truly heartening, and your impact on their lives was profound.
