We have a dedicated Wise account for converting your currency to Kenyain Shillings and transferring money direct to the School.
You will not be coerced or pressured in any way. We take no commission or admin fees everything you donate goes directly to the school.
Sponsor a child
Through this model you are able to give a child a happy childhood by becoming his or her sponsor and thereby changing their lives. Your sponsorship enables us to provide education and meals for the child and prepare them for an independent adult life.
Sponsoring a child with Edgel Mission affords you an opportunity to develop a life-long connection with a girl or boy who needs you, while helping to improve the support network surrounding them.
Please note: All children are treated equally whether they have a sponsor or not, your sponsorship will not give a child an advantage over the others. What it means is that you are helping that child pay their way so as to relieve the burden on the school. And of course you will form a special link with that child and you will be able to follow their progress and development. Knowing that you have helped to save a child from a dire existence and given them the chance to have a safe and meaningful life.
What to expect as a Sponsor.
The Edgel staff will write a feedback report to the sponsor each term (Interval of 4 months). This report will focus on the development of the child in areas including but not limited to education, health, social and spiritual affairs.
Scanned letters and artworks from the child to the sponsor.
What is the cost to sponsor a child.
£30 per month per child (Ordinary) and £50 per month for special child (e.g deaf, blind, lame, etc.) or the equivalant in your currency.
To make it sustainable we suggest a yearly inflation increase of 7.5%. this could vary you just need to be aware before taking on this life changing commitment.
You may be notified in advance about extra cost which may occur from time to time such as school and university fees and health care costs. These will be voluntary, but I am sure you would want to be aware of them and act acccording to your means.

By choosing to donate to Edgel Mission you join us, as we help every child reach their full potential by enabling us to pay teachers, school support stuff, buy uniforms, text books, stationaries and provide meals for the children.
In addition, as the Edgel Academy expands so is the need for expanding both the structures and the support staff that we already have in place in order to accommodate the increase in the number of the pupils under our care. Your kind donations will make this a reality.
