Background Info
David Muchoki was born in 2015 in Sewage slums, Nakuru County. He is the last child of Nancy Nduta Mungai. His sister is called Rahab Njoki. She is in class five. Nancy Nduta and her two children reside in Rhonda slums, Nakuru County. Nancy is 27 years old. Nancy also stays with her younger sister. She sells clothes and shoes in order to cater for her children’s needs.
Nancy separated from her husband. Her husband, Benson Ndegwa, was a truck driver. She discovered her husband’s infidelity. The husband had an affair with a married woman around Nakuru. He was also very irresponsible and abusive as a result of drunkenness.
He spent all his money on the concubine and forgot about his family. Nancy could not keep up with his behaviour and decided to leave. She went to live with her then-employer. Even after leaving, the man would still go after her with abuse, but Nancy had made up her mind not to go back.
Later, Nancy moved to her elder sister’s house with her two children. She stayed here for two years. They would go out together to look for money each day. Meanwhile, they would leave their children alone to guard the house. She later rented a small place where she is currently raising her children. Her brother-in-law has been helping her pay the rent whenever she cannot.
David was admitted to Prince of Peace School in 2019. He is determined to unlock his potential skills.
