Background Info
Eddie Kimani was born in the year 2013. He has a brother and two sisters. He is the third-born child of Esther Wangari. Esther is 32 years old. She used to work as a hawker in Nakuru Town. Esther had been in relationships with several men. She had no stable home. So she would get pregnant and leave the babies with her mother, Esther Waithera.
Her work as a hawker was not earning enough. But with the little she got, she helped her mother buy food. Life was so hard for Esther. She decided to look for a better job. However, she did not manage to get any work in her town. She decided to try her luck elsewhere.
Esther heard about the recruitment of house help in Saudi Arabia. She decided to go and try her luck there. Esther managed to get a job in Saudi Arabia. Her mother, Waithera, believed that Esther would now help her raise the children. This did not happen. Esther found and fell in love with a man who was back in Kenya. Esther did send her mother money to help raise her children. She instead chose to send the money to her new boyfriend. Her mother tried to get people to advise Esther, but she did not listen to any of them.
Waithera was left to care for the grandchildren alone. Eddy lives with his grandmother, his two siblings and several other cousins. The grandmother is 61 years old and with no work. She depends on her small piece of land for food. She also suffers from high blood pressure. She is not able to handle casual jobs. The family struggles to put food on the table. Eddie was admitted to Prince of Peace School in 2019. He suffers from occasional leg joint irritation. We continue to monitor his health and education. Eddie is very talented and gifted.
